Accurately measures the operation temperatures and pressures of solar hot water systems. Save time and money by installing a gauge that measures both temperature and pressure in the same unit.

By installing two of these temperature pressure gauges on either side of your array, you can measure heat gained, system pressure, and pressure drop. System pressure is important to make sure the system is operating within a save and efficient range (usually 20 to 60 psi). Pressure drop can help diagnose problems such as clogs or pump damage. Heat gained or the difference in temperature from the array inlet gauge to the array outlet gauge is useful to see that the system is doing what it is supposed to: Produce Heat!

When the temperature differential and the flow rate is monitored with a flow meter, it is easy to calculate how much energy your system is producing.

Pressure range 0 to 75 PSI;Accuracy +/-2%
Temp Range 60to 260 F; Temp Accuracy +/-3%
Dial Size is 2 1/2 inch diameter
Connection Size 1/4 inch NPT

Constructed of black painted steel casing with brass socket material for contact with the working fluid. Suitable for high temperate operation with both domestic hot water and propylene glycol.

Plumbing requirements:
3/4" systems require one 3/4" to 1/4" Brass Bushing
1/2" systems require one 1/2" to 1/4" Brass Bushing

Do not use steel bushings on solar hot water systems. The high temperature and the contact with copper cause them corrode very quickly (months not years). The corrosion will result in leaks and possibly failure of equipment.
