Nothing beats the reliability or efficency of Grundfos SQFlex Submersible Pumps. This is the ultimate submersible pump for water lifts of up to 600 feet. They can be directly powered by solar or wind power or can be run on an inverter,a generator, a battery or the utility grid, or any combination of these sources (such as solar with an AC generator back up). They can operate on virtually any source of power. The pumps accept 30 to 300VDC and 90 to 240 VAC. And with Grundfos, you know it is built to last and is maintenance free.
Seven pump models can deliver from 4 gpm at 525 feet to 50 gpm at 20 feet of head with a 1 kilowatt solar array or less. Helical rotor pumps (models 3, 6and 11) for high head applications and centrifugal pumps for low head applications.The helical rotor pumps are highly recommended if you have any dirt, sand,sediment, or high mineral water from your well. The 3 SQF, 6 SQF, and the 11SQF are helical rotor type pumps. All others are centrifugal. The SQFlex has built-in protection from dry-running, overload and overheating.
The SQFlex pump can run on a solar arrays starting at 129 watts.The array must have an operating voltage over 30 volts. The array can be made of any combination of 3 or more 12-volt nominal modules in series or 2 or more 24-volt nominal module.
SQFlex pumps have a 1 year manufacturer warranty from the date of purchase. A 5 year extended warranty is available separately.
Poly pipe in rolls is acceptable instead of rigid pvc or galvanized, because the slow-start feature of the motor reduces start up torque and twisting of the pipe. The pumps are 17 to 23 pounds in actual weight.
The SQFlex pumps will not function with a GFCI in the supply circuit, and should not be used where a GFCI is required.

NOTE: Daily volume and flow calculations are based on38° north latitude location, fixed array tilt of 38° and 4.5kWH/m2 (POA) winter, and 7.5 kWH/m2 (POA) summersolar insolation. The pump model is optimized for summeroperation. Up to 40% more water can be pumped in thesummer if the array is on a tracking mount. The outputcan vary with different locations and years, and is notguaranteed.
